Of course I don’t condone the mass killing of alawites. I am also not Syrian and do not know why Assad loyalist groups killed 26 civilians and 121 police members of the Syrian General Security Service or why Syrian security forces and pro-government fighters in response perpetrated the killing of more than 700 Alawite civilians across parts of the Latakia countryside
I try not to question the absurdity of civil war, the answers are never satisfying
