Yeah, I totally get the American hate. When it comes to history and even current government policy it is well deserved.

I also agree that stringent wealth caps must be policy. This is not even controversial at this point. In the US we tried trickle down. It has been a dramatic failure.

I don’t think you are irrational at all. I think you may not be seeing the bigger picture and lashing out against things that are not really the problem.

  • You make excellent points. I truly believe with open source and some investments that every government can host everything they need internally.

I think this could have been done twenty years ago, but it is never too late to invest in our collective software future instead of letting corporations monopolize everything.

As far as social media, they will have to comply or exit the market. I would be wary of places like Zombie Twitter. They have already been proven to interfere with elections in other countries.

We are obviously facing a lot of policy making in order to reign in our digital future. Unfortunately, the US shows exactly zero appetite to pump the breaks. Let alone pull the ebrake and come to a screeching halt like they need to.

We don’t need to be reminded that Meta and Microsoft have contributed server resources to enacting a genocide. Even IBM helped the Nazi with their final solution during WWII. American companies are absolutely not to be trusted.

  • A rough estimate for cocaine use alone would be anywhere from 4,000-12,000 pounds a day for illicit US use. It is a staggering amount of drugs that need to be made or imported for US citizens.

They also need to send several more times than this to keep supply flowing because of interdiction, waste, and shrinkage. So we are talking about 100,000-250,000 pounds of all illicit drugs every single day.

The War On Drugs was unbelievable success for it’s true intentions. A lot of people don’t understand that it was really a war on minorities. At best it was a political tool to suppress the public and at worst it was a multigenerational genocide.

Instead of giving people the hope and tools for a better future, our government used it to strip our rights, normalize police militarization, destroys countless families, and let people die from overdoses needlessly.

The loss of life is staggering. The dramatic drop in quality of life is mind boggling. The reparations the government would owe if this reality would reach the masses would be easily a hundred trillion dollars if you also count the destruction in Mexico and South America.

  • Hey, I get it. You don’t have answers and that is okay. Nationalism is always a symptom of a deeper problem and also relies on hiding the truth.

I told you the US was way worse than China. That makes me MAGA?

I think you are just confused and frustrated and really don’t know what the fuck you are saying at this point. I encourage you to continue examining your opinions. Cheers!

  • We can totally agree to disagree but the way the current Chinese government came to power was very brutal. We are talking 2 to 40 million dead depending how you calculate the loss of life.

No country is perfect and China is far from one.

I find it strange you would attribute the rise of China to their internal policies as opposed to the reality of them taking advantage of US and other foreign investments. China is great because of the US not despite it.

You sound like someone who is a pick me for China. This often happens when westerners get disillusioned with the US. Which I think is easy to do. They will look into some other country to latch onto.

For instance, I am guilty of looking up to some Western European countries policies and idealizing them. I was once also very enamored with socialism. I still am in a lot of ways.

Are you seriously trying to argue who is worse? I am pretty sure that US is way worse but China definitely sucks.

If do find you last comment enlightened. Yes we are not that much different. In fact China pumped out more billionaires than the US this year. Just two imperialist fascist countries sitting in a tree.
