Honestly, in my experience since I fully moved to Lemmy:

Almost any subreddit is more mature than any Lemmy channel.
This isn’t just number of users (but that’s a huge problem that has been mentioned here a lot), it means that the chance you’ll run into a mod who is a tinpot despot is pretty high, and there is nothing you can do about it if you’re not willing to sit alone in a ghost town alternate community.

The fact that you deleted the post for “misinformation” shows that you’re a joke of a mod.
The fact that you’re still a mod shows that Lemmy is a joke of a platform.
The fact that you’re still so butthurt over it shows that you’re a joke of a person.

Low doses of ibuprofen are better as an anti-inflammatory, and higher doses are better for pain relief, from what I’ve learned online (I’m not a doctor).
I imagine the muscle pain you were dealing with was due to inflammation from overexertion or something?

It can be prescribed in much higher dosages, unlike paracetamol, but the regular over the counter stuff is the same.

200 ibuprofen = 250 paracetamol
Extra strength just doubles both
But prescription for ibuprofen can go up a bit from that. Never seen a higher prescription for paracetamol.

But I shouldn’t have said “long term”. The dangers of each are different.
Ibuprofen is relatively safe to go a bit over the recommended dose, but not over the recommended duration.
Paracetamol is relatively safe to go over the recommended duration, but not the recommended dose.

You’re the second person I’ve seen saying that ibuprofen is stronger than paracetamol. Where does that come from?

It is slightly stronger, but the dose is smaller. A single dose of router either is roughy the same pain reduction, and similar damage for exceeding their recommended usage

You end up taking fewer painkillers of you start taking them early and get ahead of the pain. If you wait until the pain is already severe, you end up taking more.

Almost everyone in the linked Reddit post seems to be supportive of Lemmy, or even Lemmy users. Even the people who tried it and stopped seem generally warm to the idea and just think it needs polish.

I had some friends who actually DID build a secret room behind a bookshelf, where they had their home theatre or something like that I forget (they were more like close coworkers of my wife than my own friends, but they were super nice).

For space elevators, to the best of my knowledge, there is no known material that can withstand the forces involved. Not even CFNTs.

The trains now need to seat fewer people so make them smaller. Maybe 2-7 people per train.
Most routes aren’t needed at any given time, so you might as well only run the train when someone needs it.
Rather than keeping the unused trains in a central depot, keep them at the departure points
We can’t staff all these trains, and if the departure points are peoples’ homes, then let’s have the people themselves drive it
The network of destinations requires a TON of rail switches, and coordinating that is a complicated. Better to use a technology that doesn’t require switches, like wheels on pavement.
