I remember when Brad Pitt did 7 Years In Tibet. A reporter asked him his thoughts on China invading Tibet. He replied,“Why are you asking me? I’m an actor.”

Over the years I’ve lived through 7 or 8 different administrations. Usually it’s a balance of good and bad. They all do some good, some bad, and depending on how you feel about them, the more you focus on one side of that scale or the other. But this fucking administration is crazy. Like 99% of the shit they do is just straight up bad. Bad for the environment. Bad for the people living here. Bad for people living in other countries. Bad for the future. It’s like every time they have to do something, they get in a room and decide what the worst possible thing they can get away with, and then do that.

I’ve been watching PBS, listening and donating to NPR, for decades. I don’t know if it’s me, but it seems in the past couple years they’ve bent over backwards to not seem partisan. Which has made their reporting and coverage somewhat lackluster. Still better than any option out there.

Is it still a war crime without a war? I’m not trying to split hairs or justify the crime, just wondering about definitions. A quick search didn’t really clarify it. Violation of international law, absolutely. And who would prosecute? I don’t think the US has allowed itself to be subjugated to any international court.

I watched PBS news tonight as well, and what AndiHutch said was pretty much right on.

The Dems just don’t seem to realize how dire things are. It’s maddening.

Yeah, there’s no way you should judge voters for the way they…uhhh…voted? Or didn’t vote? Same thing.

And there was the whole states vs federal thing going on. They didn’t want the Federal gov’t to have a standing military for reasons. They gave up on that pretty quickly, too bad they didn’t go back and clarify their stance, but how would they know their offspring would be so fucking stupid.
