When I search for flights, I always exclude RyanAir from the results. They’re the only airline that not only has consistently shitty service, but also seems proud to abuse their customers. I hate to imagine how they cut corners in maintaining their aircraft.

If your readers don’t accept this policy, then they should please feel free to fly with other airlines, who may operate a more lax minors travel policy.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryanair

The company has at times been criticised for its…tendency to intentionally generate controversy in order to gain publicity.[31][32][33]

“Let’s be honest,” the RyanAir spokesman continued. “If your readers aren’t willing to even fly with their children, can it really be said that they even love them?”

The last part of service section regarding the Afrikaans language test is wild. The sales flow is sacred and I cannot believe such a huge stupid blocker would get green lit into product.

And where is their stock now?

I suppose it would be better to ask how long that lasted.

On 6 July, 2009, United Airlines opened at $3.31 and dipped to an intra-day low $3.07 (-7.25%) on 10 July, but that very day closed at $3.26 and traded as high as $6.00 (+81.27%) four weeks later on August 6.[20]

There it is, nearly instant profit

That’s exactly what the phrase means. I can guarantee you that smart traders made a good chunk off the dip.

Once everyone forgot about it, I’m sure it went back to normal.

But it certainly did them no favours. The David Dao incident is another example of there definitely being bad publicity.

Ryanair is like the single rider queue for rides.

They’re handy if you need to go somewhere fast and cheap, but asking any more of them is just going to lead to frustrating and lots of extra fees.

At this point, their reputation is so well-publicised (and even celebrated) that nobody really has any real right to moan once they’ve actively selected them as a carrier.

Apropos of nothing, flew with them from Köln to Liverpool for €0.99! The taxes/fees were 4x that, sure, but the total airfare was < €10.

I didn’t say that I willingly flew with them again since, but it happened. 😅🤪

Yeah, I went to a short notice concert in Laaaahndan last year when hotel prices were ludicrous. A same day domestic flight cost fifty notes .

I boarded with no luggage - just my watch, phone, wallet, and a phone charger - expected the bare minimum and wasn’t disappointed. Like Ronseal, it did exactly what it said on the tin.

I mean, the fact that they didn’t return me in a pine box for that price was kinda surprising, but I was grateful and decided not to tempt The Fates further.

          Laaaahndan

There is absolutely no way that is a real place. Map, nuh-uh. You’d have to physically take me there, and then I will still be incredibly suspicious that I’m not just trapped in some weird dream.

Sounds like they felt defensive being called out on incomptetence (software that lets you make bookings the company doesn’t allow), which the response completely evaded in favor of insults.
