    What’s even more classy is that the thrift store slapped a price tag on it and set it out before checking the basket.

      Goodwill doesn’t clean or wash anything. Which is why the first thing you do when you bring something home from that place is give it a good scrubbing.

      My first thought as well! Most of the thrifts around here either have a special sticker indicating they’ve tested the electrics, or at least an extra mark on the tag.
