There was a clear progression here: Miller started by claiming it was fascist to moderate the speech of explicit Neo-Nazis and other white supremacists, but eventually he came to use it about Democrats generally, particularly the Black prosecutors who deigned to prosecute Trump for crimes others also get prosecuted for.

If Miller believes the word fascist inevitably leads to violent targeting, then he needs to be prosecuted himself for the violent threats that Trump’s prosecutors faced, or that immediately plagued Nina Jankowicz.

And while Miller generally stopped using the word fascist after Harris referenced John Kelly’s use of it to apply to Trump (as part of an effort to blame Democrats because a registered Republican who also considered targeting Biden shot at Trump), to this day — even in this speech — Miller uses dehumanizing language every chance he gets. He simply uses “Marxist” or “communist” or “radical” instead.

Stephen Miller is dangerous. Of all the fascists’ lies, his are the most poisonous. He consistently dehumanizes his opponents and deals in falsehoods specifically designed to incite hatred and violence against them. He is trying hard to get people killed, all while whining that the other side is too violent. Stephen Miller is exactly the kind of bitterly mediocre man who would fit right in with the OG Nazi leadership. I sometimes wonder how much the tone of this administration would change if they just didn’t have Miller pouring his poison into Trump’s ear every day.

Except that he’s Jewish. You’d think even a dumbass like him might be able to do the math on that.

There were some Jewish Nazis… unfortunately

Edit: just for clarity it’s a tragedy when any decides to go Nazi or help the monsters.

Pretty sure Henry Kissinger (may he rest in piss) was quoted saying “If it were not for the accident of my birth, I’d be antisemitic.”

If the left was half as violent as Miller says they are he would have been killed years ago

Is this a revelation? It’s stephen miller. Everything he does is with the intention of either consolidating power or to get lefties killed.

Stephen Miller is such a little dweeb who obviously has problems, and I’m just so tired of his rhetoric.

I bet anything that, even with all the evidence to the contrary, that if something Kirk-like were to happen to him, there would be all these “moderates” falling all over themselves about what a truly great human being he was, that he was all for free speech, that he just wanted to unite the country and other ridiculous things…

I don’t know if anyone could really muster that for Miller. He’s hated as much as Ted Cruz, by both the left and the right.

That’s just recency bias. You’ll find a lot of the brazenness and naked cruelty when you get into the historical records. It just isn’t obvious from the 10,000 ft historical view.

The Nazis aren’t some ideological outgrowth of a century of horrifying cruelty in Europe, they’re just a team of Bad Guys Who Lost. They appear and they disappear from the timeline, and we never really stop to think about why or how this movement emerged out of a generally pretty liberal German society from decades earlier. Or where all the little cockroaches went when the war was over.
