The POTUS pooped on protesting people. Here.

In a military jet. With the words “King Trump” painted on it. While wearing a crown of gold.

This is obviously a war on the American people by some sort of militarized psychological contagion. I personally think all of what we’re seeing comes right out of Jerusalem. Which is the epicenter of American politics.

Regardless, I can see what they’re doing and I respect the intensity of their work. But I know leftists can do much, much better than anything the right colonizes.

    they know they’re lying

Here’s the thing: these people aren’t merely “religious”; they actually believe the Bronze-Age mythologies.

The only way to do that, and still function in the technological world around you, is to have an Orewllian-Doublespeak, Faith-based approach to reality.

In short, they habitually engage in belief without evidence

Once you practice that enough – once evidence doesn’t have a bearing on what’s true – then your own ability to know what is true and what simply feels good, is similarly eroded.

No, they don’t know they’re lying. They can’t tell the difference between what their in-group culture Feels Good About, and what is objectively true.

This is an excellent explanation of why being slightly religious is still problematic. Once the sickness gets so bad they start hurting people, they act like their book doesn’t say to hurt people, and they weren’t encouraging the spiral into madness.

We need to view religion – that is, faith, or in other words belief without evidence, the same way we view racism.

It is not really a personal matter. It is a profoundly uncivil way of dealing with others in a modern diverse society.
