At !ich_iel@feddit.org we call memes “Michmichs” because me = mich in German.
Yeah “ikiks” wouldn’t really work haha. “Mijmijs”? Idk at R*ddit people used “meems” in the Dutchs communities. Sounds logical to me, it’s a Dutch sounding word that believably could be “meme” in english. Just like “name” is “naam” in Dutch.
Mijmijs is not too bad

And using “MeMes” (“me”, “mij”, “mijn”) isn’t funny enough.

I can live with that haha. Memerijen sounds like the more formal word. But it’s also silly so it’s okay
