ope: it was a rifle rifle. They are reporting Mauser in .30 caliber so… M98 in .308? Something like that anyway. Mauser also makes a very nice line of modern hunting rifles and you can get those in 30-06
Could’ve also had a suppressor. They don’t eliminate all the sound like the movies, but make a huge difference with rifles.
