“What do you think they [protesters] want?” Harris Faulkner of Fox News asked the president. “What do you think they need, right now, from you?”

Here was Trump’s answer, verbatim:

"Protesters for different reasons. You’re protesting also because, you know, they just didn’t know. I’ve watch - I watched very closely. Why are you here? They really weren’t able to say, but they were there for a reason, perhaps.

“But a lot of them really were there because they’re following the crowd. A lot of them were there because what we witnessed was a terrible thing. What we saw was a terrible thing. And we’ve seen it over the years. We haven’t, you know, this was one horrible example, but you’ve seen other terrible examples. You know that better than anybody who would know it. And I know it. I’ve seen it, too. I’ve seen it before I was president. I’ve seen it. I think it’s a shame. I think it’s a disgrace. And it’s got to stop.”

Did you not see the debate between these 2 old fucks? Biden had more than just a stutter.

Did you see any other speech by biden in the 4 years prior to that, or did you base the your decision on a few Tick tock clips that were probably AI generated? Did you even watch the full debate or did you just hit it for some confirmation bias?

What are your feelings on trump tho? Why does biden live in your head rent free? He’s gone, say something about the current leadership?

Except Bidens performance in that infamous debate was horrendous. Anyone who’s had loved ones with dementia can see it. To try to pretend otherwise is silly. Biden has clearly declined significantly since 2020.

You can also see it similarly with Trump with a much slower rate of progress, where in 2016 he was far more coherent in his word salads and seemed to actually maintain a steady train of thought while he spoke, now he just babbles and doesn’t seem to have any clear idea of what he’s said nor what he’s going to say

Sounds to me like you didn’t see the debate. He dropped out because of the debate performance. And yes, with speeches he was better because he tends to actually read what’s there instead of Trump’s going off script and rambling about Arnold Palmer’s dick or whatever.

And Trump is a fascist, I’m pretty sure you can go through my posts and find posts where I say that.

Hey dropped out because the news was roasting him 24/7. He was pressured by half the party to step down for 30 reasons and did so without a good plan. If the news treated trump causing a global recession like Biden’s speech impediments, maybe we could still be arguing about how Biden had dementia while he was president. But now we have to deal with Trump and the great depression.

It was the whole thesis of Dean Phillips’ primary challenge, but the media froze him (and Williamson) out and the Democratic party even cancelled the primary in certain states. That happened months before the debate and everyone with eyes could already see he was declining, nobody in the mainstream media wanted to say it out loud until it was impossible to deny after the debate.

Remember, when he ran in 2020 he said he was running as a transitional candidate and heavily implied he’d only do one term, then he changed his mind and made sure there would be no competitive primary.

If he had stuck to the original plan (one term, then have an open primary to pick the 2024 candidate instead of parachuting Harris in at least minute), we might not have had Trump 2 either.

Biden and the Democratic leadership caused this, and they’re still not even mounting an effective opposition.

That is all a very fair assesment. I’m all about talking about the DNC’s choices to cancel primaries and shove Kamala. Not having the foresight to plan a contender the moment biden got elected in 2020.

I’m not here to defend Biden, im more pointing out the insane political miscalculation of the left-wing media, to joing the right wing media, and comeplete derail the conversation about the elections ISSUES, only to discuss bidens age and mental abilities. Now we’ve got a 79 year old mad man destroying the country so ya, lets forget biden and focus on the DNC.
