Robinson’s parents have Republican listed as their party affiliation, said public voter registration information, and they are considered active voters (each cast ballots in the 2024 election that gave Trump a second presidency).
Public records also indicated Robinson registered as a voter in Utah in July 2021 but was considered inactive and did not declare an affiliation to any party when he registered.
And then there’s a lot of talk about bullet engravings which leave me very confused. How can you engrave “If you’re reading this you’re gay” - 26 characters onto a single bullet? (edit: no more about this please) Even so, the messaging is open to interpretation. We simply do not know yet, and we might never know 100%! He’s conflicted, that much seems clear.

The shooter used Mauser 98 bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 (“thirty-aught-six”). The Mauser 98 is a bolt action rifle; a form of single action, meaning the firearm needs to be recocked before fired again, similar to a old revolver or a Nerf blaster. Since only one shot was fired, no casings actually left the firearm. The spent casing from the fired shot never left the chamber, as it would not be extracted until recocked.
Right, on the casing, which is left behind after shooting. And didn’t he only fire one shot? So the entire round was left behind for all but one of them.
30-06 is a large hunting round. It has roughly a 75% larger surface area on the cartridge (the casing, not including the projectile) than a round of 5.56; the standard NATO round,. This is also almost 250% more surface area than 9mm, which the United Healthcare shooter was able to fit 7 characters on with “dispose”, therefore it can reasonably be assumed that you can fit 17 or more characters, which could handily fit “if u read this u r gay”.
All the bullets where engraved with anti fascist stuff, memes, and funny shit. I wouldn’t say in context that it gave even any indication of being pro lbtq except I guess maybe the teasing about stares at bulges. Not really pro trans so much as griefing a person obsessed with wanting to know what’s in other people’s pants.

Kid dressed at the Groyper pepe meme and Donald Trump, has many pictures in MAGA gear and recently expressed his frustration with Charlie Kirk, who also has a well documented “Groyper War” conflict. Bullet casings were inscribed with “gamer” phrases.
It’s very possible to have politics that differ from your family. It’s also possible for politics to change over the course of years. I think he used to be MAGA, but shifted over to the left within the last few years.
Groypers and the alt-right generally co-opt existing symbols to define themselves, making it quite difficult to definitively determine who’s part of the group. They love plausible deniability.
Nothing enscribed on the bullets is definitive proof. A lot of the links to groypers are tenuous at best.
I don’t think we’ll be sure of the motive until he tells us, but at this point, I think he was most likely on the left.
You’re not wrong and he may not be a Groyper exactly, but I still believe he’s adjacent. I don’t believe that having a Trans partner excludes him either. We’ll have to wait and see. His politics may not be as black and white as any of us thought. Being raised in an ultra Christian, probably ultra conservative household and community, fucks people up. Repression, shame, and guilt are powerful tools religion wields as a cudgel.
I grew up in a similar situation, albeit not as strict a Christian or as conservative a community, but damn close. I’ve seen first hand how folks like these can fuck a kid up beyond repair. The jury is still out, but I still believe he’s a right-winger.

Do you have sources to support that? Genuinely curious because I can’t find any sources on his political views, other than people’s comments on here…
