They either can’t fathom a dystopian world under constant surveillance, and shitty AI not capable of replacing doctors, scientists, and engineers, or they haven’t thought that far ahead, and should probably watch Idiocracy to get a glimpse of their future.
The other half probably understands most of what Lassie is saying on some level, but their denial is a coping mechanism. Either way, we can’t wait around for that 15-30% of America to come to their senses pull their heads out of their asses.
