oh we had something like this happen in school too only it was about drugs. They were suggesting some activity as an alternative to drugs and everyone started referring to smoking pot as whatever it was… disc golf or something I can’t really remember after a hundred years.
… I believe “disc golf” has been code for smoking pot since its inception.

Oh dear… the other day I was encouraging my 12-year-old to join the cross country team. He said the only sport he’s interested in is badminton.
